finding dimes where pennies spent my years in black reminiscing of you and i back to back to the same damn song i sung all too well and we’re playing piano feeling the tunes of muses i used to kiss on the back of the neck breaking tens to black like dark and night full moons before crescents danced before me your eyes in time with fingers fading like your voicemails in the distant eve and i find you not because i want you but because horror sleeps where we can’t breathe like sheets and time cradling positions water filled bathrooms drowning in rooms where i used to think of you like black and blue featured moons and i hear you not because i want you but because demons play in heads at night whispering tunes like a midnight summer dream kissing defeat with swollen lips heated words conversations i used to black from my mind like memories of you and i in the past and in night black
