With poetry, I listen to little words and just go from there. Someone could say the sky is burgundy and I would probably pull out my phone and write then and there. I’ve passed people on the street and wrote about their hair. I think people take little things for granted and miss out on how beautiful an exchange or a passing on the street can be.
